Description

Keijo Camp, Korea. c. 1945. Fifteen Australians, who are released prisoners of war (POWs), captured in Singapore, had been in this camp for more than three and a half years. The camp consisted of a series of low wooden huts, a small hospital and a pig sty. All the POWs spoke highly of the Korean people who gave them what little food they could spare.
