Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. March 1971. Corporal (Cpl) Chris St. Claire of Glen Innes, NSW, cleans his 81mm mortar during a break in operations in Phuoc Tuy Province. Cpl St. Claire is a member of Support Company, 2RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (The ANZAC Battalion comprising 2nd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment), based at the Night Defence Position Garth, north of the 1st Australian Task Force Base (1ATF) at Nui Dat.
