South Vietnam. April 1971. Private Alan Shearman of Drouin, Vic, a signaller with the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), erecting a di-pole aerial during operations in Phuoc Tuy Province. Private Shearman was a baker in Warragul before being called up for National service.
