Hathazari, Eastern Bengal, India. c. 21 February 1945. From serving the surrounded paratroopers at Arnhem to supplying ground forces in the Araken in Burma are the experiences of 413713 Warrant Officer (WO, later Pilot Officer) Edwin Anthony Fahey, navigator of Granville, NSW (right), taking a bath 'somewhere in Burma'. Helping him on the water pump is 414833 WO R. A. Rose, navigator of Goondiwindi, Qld. WO Fahey was killed in an accident over Burma on 27 June, 1945 Both servicemen are RAAF members of No. 117 (Dakota) Squadron RAF.
