South Vietnam. April 1970. Leader of the Democratic Labor Party, Senator Vincent Gair, gets a run-down on a 105mm howitzer from three gunners at Fire Support Base (FSB) Ann. The gunners are, from left: Cyril Cordery of Mapleton, Qld; Pat Gibbons of Rossarden, Tas; Ken Campbell of Pennant Hills, NSW. The Senator's visit to the FSB, forward base of 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), was part of his eight-week fact finding tour of South-East Asia.
