Shoalwater Bay, Qld. March 1969. On guard at a well protected bunker deep in dense bush in the Raspberry Creek sector of the Shoalwater Bay training area, is Corporal Peter Kent of Cudgen, NSW. Corporal Kent is a member of 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), which is now on Exercise Bright Armour. The exercise is preparing the Battalion for service in South Vietnam later this year.
