Australia. 25 November 1965. Army Photographer, Mike Coleridge, ran a quick print of Yvonne Barrett's (left) first injection and presented it to the young singer as a memento of her first day in the Army. Yvonne wasn't very impressed but fellow entertainers Ian Turpie and Pat Carroll (right) seemed to enjoy the joke. The party of entertainers, headed by Tommy Hanlon Jr, were receiving a series of injections in readiness for their forthcoming tour of South Vietnam.
