Victoria Barracks, Sydney, NSW. 24 March 1971. On the eve of returning to civilian life, Public Relations (PR) photographer, Corporal Robert (Bob) Pearce, uses a 500mm telephoto lens to take a photograph of a Currawong which was wolf-whistling girls in Sydney's Victoria Barracks. Corporal Pearce returned to the Sydney Morning Herald after spending sixteen months with Eastern Command Public Relations. He left with a high record of accomplishments in both still and cine photography.
