Rangoon, Burma. 5 January 1945. Among objectives of paratroops who landed south of Rangoon were heavy gun emplacements guarding river approach to Rangoon. Aerial view of defence points are indicated by ill-camouflaged circular embankments, which appear at first glance to be bomb craters.
