Air Commodore (Air Cdre) A M Charlesworth takes the salute from Australian officers and men from the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF), at an Investiture Parade, at Kure. He also presented medals to officers and Non Commissioned Officers (NCOs), as part of his role as BCOF Headquarters Chief of Staff. Behind him a group of Australian officers stand at attention, while two Military Police (MP) guards stand by the rostrum. Note MPs are wearing white belts, holsters and full white sleeves.
