South Vietnam. June 1970. Private Graeme Ellis of Sunshine, Vic, has time to sharpen his machete knife during a break in operations. Pte Ellis is a member of D Company, 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), who were ambushing around the Binh Ba rubber plantation, about seven miles north of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat.
