South Vietnam. June 1970. Private (Pte) Bob Cripps of Mordialloc, Vic, cleans his M79 grenade launcher during an operation. He is a member of D Company, 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), who were ambushing around the Binh Ba rubber plantation, about seven miles north of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat.
