Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. July 1970. A busload of South Vietnamese halts for an identity card check at a roadblock. Watching the Vietnamese national policeman check the cards is Private Paul Simson of Leongatha, Vic. He is serving with the 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR), which is working with Vietnamese police to check vehicles for Viet Cong suspects.
