Begley , Colin Neil (b.1932)
Description
Papers of Colin Neil Begley associated with his internment in Yang Chow CAC ('Civil Assembly Centre') Camp C, China between 1942 and 1945. They include an identity card, nominal lists of internees in the camp, list of camp committee election candidates, and 1944 report cards from the camp's Boys' School for Begley and his brother. Begley's parents were Australian Salvation Army officers working as missionaries with refugees from the Sino-Japanese war, the family being interned in Yang Chow in March 1942.
