Description

Kim, a Korean houseboy (centre), was the recipient of an oversize cigar and a toast following Christmas dinner at D Company, the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). With him are, left to right: Corporal (Cpl) Peter Mors of Gosford, NSW; Cpl Jack Doyle of Box Hill, Vic; Kim; Private (Pte) Neil Hamilton of Semphere, SA, and Pte S 'Taffy' Collict of Geelong, Vic. Note the bottle of Ballarat Bitter beer the men are drinking. 4400178 Pte Neil Hamilton, who was born in Glasgow, Scotland, was killed in action (KIA) in Korea on 8 May 1953.
