A party of seven Turkish officers from the UN Liaison Group and from the Turkish Brigade in Korea left Haneda Airport by way of RAAF Douglas C47 Dakota on the first leg of their trip to Australia on the invitation of the Returned Services League (RSL) to take part in the Anzac Day celebrations. Pictured, left to right: the Turkish Ambassador; Lieutenant Colonel King; General Erdelhun, and Colonel Danis Belen, Commanding Officer of the Turkish Brigade in Korea.
