Portrait of 1946387016 (446735, V158149, VX135431) Sergeant (Sgt) Norman Strange MM, 8th, taken at the Reich Chancellery in Berlin, playfully imitating Adolf Hitler. His unidentified companion holds up an empty picture frame through which Sgt Strange performs. The image was taken during the Australian Victory Contingent's visit in June 1946. Sgt Strange enlisted on 17 April 1939 at Ballarat and served with the 8 Battalion. He was awarded the Military Medal, and was discharged on 13 September 1946.
