South Korea. 9 August 1953. 2/400311 Private (Pte) T. Hollis, A Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), of Enmore, NSW (right), and 3/400024 Pte Keith R. Gwyther, D Company, 3RAR, of Leongatha, Vic, celebrate their return to freedom, with a drink outside the hospital ward at the Britannia Camp. Both had been prisoners of war (POWs) and were released today. Pte Hollis was captured at Inchon 21 January 1951 and Pte Gwyther was captured at Kapyong 24 April 1951.
