Nuriootpa, SA. Studio portrait of S11440 Private Elliot Lawrence Cundy, 13th Australian Field Regiment. He is one of three brothers from Greenock who enlisted in the Army during the Second World War. Private Cundy served in New Guinea, and his brother, SX6178 Private Mervyn Cundy, died in north Borneo after being held in the Sandakan Prisoner of War camp. (Donor P. Brown)
