Members of the Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD) have a meal while on bivouac with members of Australian Army Medical Womens Service (AAMWS). The VADs work at the Motor Transport Training Depot which trains AAMWS to drive Army trucks so they can relieve the men who are needed for active service.
