AN AUSTRALIAN CLIMBING TO A JAPANESE POST BUILT HIGH UP IN A TREE TO ALLOW THE ENEMY TO DIRECT THE FIRE OF TWO 3-INCH NAVAL GUNS AGAINST ALLIED TROOPS ADVANCING ON BUNA. AUSTRALIANS CAPTURED THE GUNS AND OBSERVATION POST. THEY USED THE OBSERVATION POST TO DIRECT THE FIRE OF OUR 25-POUNDERS.
