NSW. Paybook photograph of NX5333 Corporal Samuel Noel Walker, 2/4th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Corporal Walker, aged 29, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 28 May 1941. He was the son of Henry Neil and Agnes Isabel Walker, of Forbes, NSW.
