NSW. Paybook photograph of NX13351 Private Edward Maurice Andrews, 2/1st Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Andrews, aged 22, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 21 May 1941. He was the son of Edith May Andrews, of Cambridge, England.
