NSW. Paybook photograph of NX13467 Private Kenneth Arthur Allison, 2/1st Machine Gun Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Allison, aged 29, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 20 May 1941. He was the son of John Forrest Allison and Alice Agnes Allison, of Tarcutta, NSW. He is buried in the Suda Bay Cemetery Section 1, Row C, Plot 15.
