Vic. Paybook photograph of VX1088 Gunner Angus Herbert William Kennedy, 2/2nd Field Regiment., Royal Australian Artillery. Gunner Kennedy, aged 35, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 24 May 1941. He was the son of Donald D. Kennedy and Elizabeth Ann Kennedy, of Windsor, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10. (Photograph supplied by the Army's Soldier Career Management Agency.
