Vic. Paybook photograph of VX12761 Private George Casbolt, 2/5th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Casbolt, aged 29, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 1 June 1941. He was the son of George and Alice Casbolt.
