Vic. Paybook photograph of VX12888 Private Malcolm Neil Talbot, 2/6th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Talbot, aged 27, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 15 February 1945. He was the son of Malcolm Alexander and Emily Florence Talbot, of Coleraine, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 11.
