Vic. Paybook photograph of VX25054 Gunner Henry William Fay, 3rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. Gunner Fay, aged 24, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29 May 1941. He was the son of Henry Ernest and Sarah Ann Fay, and the husband of Alice Violet Mary Fay, of Kangaroo Flat, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10.
