Vic. Paybook photograph of VX33201 Gunner Clarence Walter McQuienn, 3rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. Gunner McQuienn, aged 22, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29 May 1941. He was the son of Kenneth Roderick and Beatrice Eliza McQuienn, of Watchem, Vic. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10.
