Vic. Paybook photograph of VX33409 Gunner James Stanilaus Gibson, 3rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. Gunner Gibson, aged 33, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29th May 1941. He was the son of Mr and Mrs W. Gibson, of Thornbury, Vic.
