Vic. Paybook photograph of VX40125 Private Leonard Albert Francis White, 2/7th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private White, aged 24, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 1 June 1941. He was the husband of Phyllis Mary White, of Fitzroy, Vic.
