WA. Paybook photograph of WX901 Private Eric Millet, 2/11th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Millet, aged 27, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 21 May 1941. He was the foster-son of Mrs M. B. Palmer, of South Perth, WA.
