WA. Paybook photograph of WX969 Private Roland Frederick Trim, 2/11th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Trim, aged 35, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 26 May 1941. He was the son of Frederick Charles and Mary Trim, of Bourton, Dorsetshire, England. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 12.
