Soldiers from 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR), race to board a helicopter that has just landed on the Dat Do airfield to take the battalion back to their base at Nui Dat. 7RAR had just completed Operation Burnside, the search of the town of Dat Do conducted as a joint operation with 2RAR, 7RAR searched the eastern part of the town and 2RAR the west. The United States Army Iroquois UH-1D helicopter is operated by 2 Platoon, 162nd Assault Helicopter Company, 11th Combat Aviation Battalion. (Black and white version held as COL/67/0767/VN).
