Bari, Italy, 26 September 1943. Pictured, left to right: 61180 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Arthur H. Collier of Bondi, NSW, and of No. 3 (Kittyhawk) Squadron RAAF of NSW, with Squadron Leader Brian Eaton, Group Captain J. Darwin, unidentified. Flt Sgt Collier has just returned to his unit after evading for nine days. Collier was forced down by a Macchi 202 after attacking a ground position. See AWM65 0765.
