Description

The R-105 tansceiver family was first introduced in the early 1950s. It consists of four transceivers, the R-105 used by infantry, the R-108 used by artillery units, the R-109 used by anti-aircraft artillery and the R-114 utilised in command and liaison nets at battalion level. The sets can appear as manpack equipment or vehicle-mounted with a 50-watt power amplifier. The four ground version sets are similar in size, weight and design but different in frequency range. The M series was introduced in the 1970s and entailed repositioning the transceiver controls and connections, a general re-configeration of parts and a reduction of channel spacing from 50 to 25 kHz. The R-105M covers 36-46.1 MHz range. This set can be remotely controlled by wire up to 2000 m. Different antennas are used including a 1.5 m Kulikow whip, a 2.7 m whip and a 40 m long wire. Transmission range is up to 8 km with the Kulikow whip and up to 20 km with a long wire antenna. The transceivers are powered by 2 KN batteries. Comes with a canvas pack REL25168.002.
