Burma. c. 20 March 1945. RAAF aircrew serving with RAF Squadrons participated in many bombing attacks on Mandalay, second Burmese city, before it fell to troops of the British 14th Army. It was held by the Japanese for nearly three years. This low-level aerial view shows buildings in ruins after air raids.
