Informal photograph of a squad of stretcher bearers detailed from the 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital to attend camp sports held at Tel-El-Kebir in 1916. From left to right; 1289 Warrant Officer Alexander John Rankin; 1204 Private (Pte) Cyril Arthur Bennett; 8311 Pte Harold Stinton; 7988 Pte Albert John Stephen Davis; 1133 Pte Fred Green, 1222 Cpl (later Sergeant) Charles William Eatt (died of illness 1 April 1918), 8304 Pte Mortimer Eugene McCarthy. All are wearing issue fly veils.
