Description
Portrait of three servicemen in Singapore. At left is NX56205 Private (Pte) Leslie Milton "Pug" Manwaring, 2/19th Australian Infantry Battalion of Cootamundra, NSW. He enlisted on 3 July 1940 and served in the 8th Division. On 22 January 1942 he was presumed dead during fighting in Malaya. Inscription on reverse of print reads: "This was taken while I was at Singapore with a couple of cobbers".
