Gravemarker of 668 Corporal Roy Preston Matson, 28th Battalion. A farm labourer, Matson enlisted on 8 April 1915 and embarked for overseas service aboard HMAT A11 Ascanius on 29 June 1915. He was reported wounded in action on 20 September 1917 and later died of those wounds. He was buried at Hooge Crater Cemetery, Zillebeke, Belgium.
