Collection relating to the service of Ernest Herbert Jones
Description
Collection relating to the service of 320 Corporal (Cpl) Ernest Herbert Jones, 1st Field Artillery Brigade, Army Medical Corps Detail, AIF. The print is inscribed with an original caption, written by Cpl Jones. It reads, "This shows our tent as arranged for a dispensary. You will see that there are two tables on which our drugs are displayed in bottles. The boxes in the corner (of the round tent) between the tables are those which contain the surplus stores amassed and packed in readiness for immediate departure. The white bag hanging on the tent pole is that which contains our available supply of lint, wool and gauze for immediate use. When all is told, we are very comfortably ensconced."
