Rangoon, Burma. 2 May 1945. The jail in which the Japanese held Allied prisoners of war (POWs) showing the roof marking which was put there by the prisoners as a message to the aircraft flying over the town on D-Day. The message on the long red-roofed building reads, 'British Here' and on the other side 'Japs Gone', painted in large white letters.
