Description

The Guided Missile Destroyer HMAS Hobart in an underway replenishment with the Mattaponi class Fleet Oiler USS Tappahannock during Operation Sea Dragon (Task Unit 77.1.1) in the Tonkin Gulf. An ammunition party is returning empty brass shells by highline transfer. At the same time, the tanker is pumping fuel to HMAS Hobart. The Frank Knox class destroyer USS Fechteler is astern on rescue stations in case of a mishap.
