Vice Admiral John J Hyland, Commander of the US Seventh Fleet, addresses members of the ship's company of HMAS Hobart D39 (1965-2000), before the RAN guided missile destroyer leaves Subic Bay, Philippines, for Australia. HMAS Hobart is completing its first deployment to Vietnam, and has been attached to the US Seventh Fleet for six months. The Hobart is being relieved by her sister ship HMAS Perth D38 (1965-1999).
