Here Rear Admiral (Rear Adm) Combs, of the US Navy, examines damage to the ship, possibly at Subic Bay, Philippines. Left to right: 0763 Commander Desmond David (Dusty) Miller, of HMAS Perth; Captain Peter Hogarth Doyle, of HMAS Perth; R34372 Chief Petty Officer Coxswain (CPOCOX) Samuel James Parke, of HMAS Perth; and Rear Adm Combs.
