Description
RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland circa September 1970. Shows McDonnell F-4E Phantoms flying in formation, peeling off, landing and taxiing into position on the tarmac. USAF and RAAF personnel who flew the aircraft being welcomed. Ceremony by VIPs including Minister for Air, Minister for Defence Malcolm Frazer, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Colin Hannah, CB, CBE. VIPs in aircraft cockpit.
