Description
SA. 11 October 1941. A train carrying members and vehicles of the 2/4th Machine Gun Battalion climbs the hills north of Adelaide en route from Woodside camp to Alice Springs. The vehicles are one ton and 30 cwt Ford trucks, of which each Vickers gun crew had its own. (Donor J. Lane)
