Description
A McDonnell Douglas Corporation promotional film showing the versatility of the McDonnell Douglas F4 Phantom twin seater supersonic fighter bomber. Includes scenes of various models of F4's in service with the USN, USAF, Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm and Imperial Iranian Airforce (IIAF). Scenes of weapons tests such as F4's launching AIM-7 Sparrow missiles, unguided rockets, guided air to ground Bullpup missiles, 750lb bombs and 20mm cannon. Also shown are scenes of F4's in combat in Vietnam strafing target with 20mm cannon, releasing high drag retard bombs at low level and shooting down a North Vietnamese MiG 17 with an air to air guided missile. F4 aerobatic displays by the USN 'Blue Angels' and USAF 'Thunderbirds'.
