New Guinea. Australian built Beaufort bomber aircraft attack Rabaul. 2000lb bombs on trolleys being unloaded at the aerodrome by armourers. Note Melbourne Cup influence, one of the bombs christened 'Dark Felt II', after a horse. Another message on a bomb reads, 'this will tear ya', and on the tail, 'Jive-Dpt'.
