Rensi, US Army, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, clothed only in a jacket speaks to Task Force Commander Brigadier Julian Cunningham, after the landing at Arawe. The craft Rensi was in was caught in Japanese cross machine-gun fire and Rensi was in the water for three hours before getting ashore in a rubber boat.
